It had been a while since I had been to the Family Search site that existed before New Family Search. Wow, what a surprise! They have really updated it. Type in any of our known names and you will get a lot of documents on each one. One of my goals has been to add documentation to the information so many have worked so hard to get for us. This tool now makes that job much easier.
The exciting thing is that when you see the documentation, often you will get clues about others that may have been missed. Here is the challenge then. See if you can find a new person to add to our lines by looking carefully at documents such as census records, vital statistics, and passenger lists. It may be the person is on a periferol line and that is why there wasn't the same interest before. It may be that the documents that you are looking at hasn't been seen by others doing our research.
Give it a try and let me know about what you find. Perhaps you will get to know more about a name so that they become a person to you...also valuable. We need to care about each other on both sides of the veil.
